Oyogist.com has learnt that Barcelona star, Lionel Messi was issued the first red card of his Barcelona career, after he was sent off for taking a swipe at Athletic Bilbao’s player, Asier Villalibre during Sunday’s Spanish Supercopa final matchup.
Barcelona lost a match in a 3-2 defeat against Athletic Bilbao.
Meanwhile Koeman said he could saw Lionel Messi’s frustration coming, due to the Player’s attitude during the clash against Athletic.”I can understand what Messi did,” said Koeman, quoted by ESPN.
” I don’t know how many times they fouled him, and it’s normal to react when they keep trying to foul you as a player who is looking to dribble with the ball, but I need to see it again properly.”
Messi will not play for Barca in Their next two games.
