OYOGist.com has learned that Barcelona are curently lying in the 8th position on the La Liga table after seven rounds of matches played and even with that, the Camp Nou side are depleted in attack as young left-winger Ansu Fati suffered a knee injury which will reportedly keep him out of actions for up to four months.
Barcelona will have to look into the transfer market in search of attacking players to bolster the squad when the transfer window opens.
Sports analysts have also said that if reports are anything to go by, then FC Barcelona are the latest club to join the transfer race to sign AC Milan playmaker Hakan Calhanoglu.
The 26-year-old Turkey International, who joined AC Milan from Bayer Leverkusen in 2017 has been impressive for the Milan outfit since he made the move.
Meanwhile, the playmaker – who can also play as a winger – has less than a year left on his contract at the San Siro and has now been linked with a move away.
Hakan Calhanoglu has been linked with a move to Manchester United recently, but now, according to reports from DonBalon via Man United News, Ronald Koeman is a fan of the AC Milan star and he is now keen on bringing him to Spain.
The playmaker has started the season on a strong note. He has scored four goals and created four assists in 11 appearances for the Serie A giant so far.
