US Democratic Presidential candidate, Joe Biden has picked Senator Kamala Harris as his 2020 US Presidential running mate, a first in history, OYOGist.com reports.
The decision was announced today (Tuesday, 11th of August, 2020) on the verified Twitter page of the 2020 US Democratic Presidential candidate.
On Twitter, Biden wrote, “I have the great honor to announce that I have picked Kamala Harris — a fearless fighter for the little guy, and one of the country’s finest public servants, as my running mate.”
Kamala Harris also contested in the Democratic US 2020 Presidential nomination. Kamala Harris dropped out of the race after losing overwhelmingly.
The US 2020 Presidential election is expected to hold on the 3rd of November, 2020.
