US court orders Trump’s name stripped from Kennedy Center

President Donald Trump is reportedly considering sacking two of his highest-ranking national security officials—Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and CIA Director John Ratcliffe—following their stark opposition to a proposed peace framework with Iran.

The bombshell report, initially published by Israeli outlet Israel Hayom, highlights an escalating internal battle over the future of U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, pitting President Trump’s desire for a swift diplomatic resolution against the deep skepticism of his intelligence and military chiefs.

Internal Rebellion Over the Iran MOU

The friction traces back to a recently signed Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Washington and Tehran, designed to establish a temporary ceasefire, open the blockaded Strait of Hormuz, and launch a 60-day window for intensive nuclear negotiations.

While the peace initiative is heavily championed by Vice President JD Vance and key Trump advisers like Jared Kushner, it has faced fierce resistance from the administration’s security hardliners:

CIA Director John Ratcliffe reportedly presented highly sensitive intelligence to the President indicating that Tehran’s private communications completely contradict their public promises. Intelligence briefs suggest Iran has no intention of making the nuclear concessions Washington is demanding.

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Secretary of State Marco Rubio have mirrored this skepticism, raising flags within the cabinet that the deal provides premature economic and sanctions relief to an unrepentant regime.
