Legendary country musician, Kenny Rogers, who wrote and performed several iconic songs over an illustrious career spanning 60 years, has just been confirmed dead, OYOGist.com has learned.
Kenny Rogers died at the age of 81.
His family confirmed the death of the singer via a Twitter post announcing his departure.
“The Rogers family is sad to announce that Kenny Rogers passed away last night at 10:25PM at the age of 81. Rogers passed away peacefully at home from natural causes under the care of hospice and surrounded by his family,” the tweet read.
Rogers performed several successful iconic songs over his career, including The Gambler, Lady, and Islands In The Stream – which he performed with Dolly Parton.

According to his family, he died on the 20th of March, 2020 at night.
