A Nigerian businessman based in South Africa has pushed back against efforts to close down his establishment, stating that his operations are fully legal and contribute positively to the local economy.
In the viral video, the businessman maintained that he possesses all the necessary documentation required to run his enterprise and questioned why he was being targeted despite complying with the country’s business regulations.
“I run my business legally,” he said, adding that his company provides employment opportunities for approximately 30 South Africans. According to him, the livelihoods of these workers and their families could be affected if the business is forced to cease operations.
