In a statement released on Wednesday, the traditional ruler emphasized that the golden jubilee is more than a milestone of existence; it symbolizes the state’s enduring spirit, unity among its people, and visionary leadership. He remarked, “Celebrating 50 years of Oyo State is a tribute to resilience and collective progress. Governor Makinde’s commitment to inclusive governance has been instrumental in driving development across the state.”

Oba Odunaye II highlighted the tangible benefits communities like Ago-Are have experienced under the current administration.
