While sharing the news on her official social media accounts, the CEO of Rose of Sharon Glorious Ministry International, attributed her constant ‘glow’ to God.
In 2020 Alakija was ranked by Forbes Magazine as the richest woman in Nigeria and the second most powerful woman in Africa after Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala.
