According to reports reaching Oyogist.com, the Nigerian government has set up a team
consisting of six ministers to negotiate with Twitter over the ban on the micro-blogging site activities in Nigeria.
Minister for Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed, announced this in a statement on Tuesday, 22nd June 2021.
Members of the committee includes the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Ali Pantami, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, the Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola, and the Minister of State for Labour and Employment, Festus Keyamo.
