Oyogist has learned that not less than 30 people were confirmed dead earlier today as Two passenger express trains crashed in southern Pakistan.
Rescuers are currently trying to break into a coach where about 25 people were believed to be trapped.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed shock at the “horrific” accident, further advising the rail minister to take necessary precautions in order to help the injured and families of the victims.
He said;
“Shocked by the horrific train accident at Ghotki early this morning leaving 30 passengers dead. Have asked Railway Minister to reach site & ensure medical assistance to injured & support for families of the dead. Ordering comprehensive investigation into railway safety faultlines.
