According to report reaching oyoist.com, The Nigeria Immigration Service has approved commencement of 2019/2020 recruitment exercise.
This was disclosed in a statement via its twitter handle.
The statement reads:
“The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), has approved the commencement of the NIS 2019 / 2020 recruitment exercise.”
“The Board is informing prospective applicants that sat for the Computer Based Test (CBT) that 6,105 candidates out of 45,323, have been shortlisted to attend the final screening of credentials and physical fitness and will be invited via their emails and SMS from Monday, 10th May 2021. Applicants are advised to check the official website of the NIS: www.immigrationrecruitment.org.ng for their names, exam location, guidelines for the recruitment exercise and print out their invitation slip without which they will not be allowed to participate in the screening exercise.”
“The exercise, by this notice is to commence on the 24th May, 2021 and is FREE.”
“For complaints and Reports contact nis.servicom@nigeriaimmigration.gov.ng or any Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) and other Anti-Graft Agencies in Nigeria closest to the applicant. Applicants whose names did not appear on the website should not appear in any of the venues for the screening.”
