Oyogist.com has learned that The Lagos State Police Command on Thursday has apprehended a popular Yoruba actor, Olarenwaju James aka Baba Ijesha, for allegedly raping a minor.
According to the Police spokesperson, “The suspect confessed to the crime and was also captured by a CCTV camera in the house of the complainant,” he said.
“The case of defilement was reported on Monday by Princess lasix Adekola Adekanya at Sabo Police Station, Yaba, Lagos.
“The case was then transferred to the Gender Unit of the State CID, Panti, Yaba Lagos, for proper investigation.
“Lagos State.CP, Hakeem Odumosu, called for proper investigation as he promised to do justice in the matter, he added.
