Ogun State Govt. Suspends Commissioner Over Alleged Sexual Harassment Of Teenage Girl

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Ogun state commissioner of environment, Mr. Abiodun Abudu-Balogun, has reportedly been suspended over alleged sexual harassment of a teenage girl.

This was made known in a statement released by the Secretary to the State Government, Tokunbo Talabi, who revealed that an investigation has been launched into the suspended commissioner’s misconduct allegations leveled by 16-year-oold girl identified as Barakat Mayowa Melojuekun.

The statement reads; “As a government with zero tolerance for gender-based violence and indeed any criminality, the suspension is a further demonstration of the commitment of Prince Dapo Abiodun Administration to fairness, equity, justice and the rule of law, no matter who is involved.”
