Yobe state Government sponsors 233 students on scholarship to India

Oyogist.com has learnt that the Governor of Yobe state, Governor Mai Mala Buni has concluded plans in offering full sponsorship to 233 Yobe youths for various undergraduate courses in India.

Over 400m has been Invested by the state government on the beneficiaries, most of whom are Reportedly from poor homes.

The beneficiaries had earlier met with the state governor, who was represented by deputy governor, Idi Barde Gubana and bidded them farewell at the government house banquet hall, Damaturu.

The students are mainly to be trained on engineering, pharmacy, and other paramedical courses in India.

“The 233 successful scholarship students from Yobe, onboard the plane on their way to Indian university to study Petroleum Engineering,operation theatre, renal dialysis, medicine, anesthesia ,cardiac technology, pharmacy, and other fields. They were sponsored by Gov. Buni of Yobe.” A post shared by @OvieAli on twitter read.
