According to report reaching oyogist.com, Ayodele Fayose, former Governor of Ekiti State, has reacted to Boko Haram terrorists’ overrun of a military base in Marte town, Borno State.

Recall that Nigerian troops had on Friday put up a fight as Boko Haram and Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP) fighters captured the military base in Marte town, Borno State.

However, Fayose in a series of tweets wrote: “Less than four days after President Buhari gleefully told Nigerians that the security situation in the North-East under him is better than what it used to be, Terrorists attacked and captured a Military Base in Borno State! A whole Military Base captured by terrorists.

“Now Nigerians can appreciate why I insisted in 2015 that Buhari lacked the needed capacity to rule Nigeria. “As for Nigerians, we are all on our own waiting for God’s deliverance from these taskmasters.”
