Scores killed in Ogun deadly cult clash

OYOGist.com has learned a deadly cult clash has reportedly taken the lives of about 20 people following a clash between the Eiye and Aiye confraternity in Ijebu-Ode, Ogun state.

The cult groups engaged in a serious clash involving the use of dangerous weapons, caused a great tension in the Ijebu-Ode area after a 2 weeks long clash which saw to the loss of about 20 lives.

It was also learnt that, the cult killings took place in Epe garage, Oke Owa, Ejirin road along Ibadan garage, Adefisan, Onirugba, and also the old Benin-Ondo road.

Two people were also said to have been reportedly killed by the the dreaded cult members behind a popular hotel in Oke-Aje including a woman and her daughter who were being convened by a tricycle man were also shot after the cultists stormed the tricycle which they claimed the driver was a rival member.

The Ogun state police command has now reportedly launched a manhunt for the dreaded criminals perpetrating the evil act in the Ijebu-Ode axis.
