The forner Nigerian Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, has expressed his utmost delight over the recently concluded Ghanian Presidential election, oyogist.com reports.
Former V.P Atiku, noted that the Ghanian Presidential election which was conducted with a good mode of transparency, should serve as an emulative habit for the Nigerian political space.
The former Vice President made this revelation known while reacting to the outcome of the Ghana Presidential election which gave the incumbent President Nana Akufo-Ado a re-election with a total of percentage vote of 51.59 percent against opposition leader Mahama’s 47.36 percent.
“Congratulations to President @NAkufoAddo on his reelection. The smooth conduct of the Ghana elections should be an eye-opener to our nation.”
“We must undertake far-reaching electoral reforms that address the shortcomings of our previous experiences and strengthen our electoral process,” former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, tweeted.
