Breaking: Israel gets first shipment of Pfizer coronavirus vaccine

According to report reaching oyogist.com, Israel has gotten its first batch of the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine with the Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, promising to get the first vaccine jab.

The vaccine shipment was part of the first eight million shipment of the coronavirus vaccine ordered from American Pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer-BioNTech. The Israeli government also ordered 6 million Covid-19 vaccine doses from American Pharmaceutical giant, Moderna, which is to be supplied 2021 making it a total of 14 million vaccine doses.


The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, in a statement said; “What is important to me is that Israeli citizens get vaccinated.”

“I want to serve as an example to them and I intend to be the first to be injected with this vaccine in the state of Israel.”

It should be noted that Israel has been one of the hardest hit countries suffering from the Covid-19 pandemic with a total of 348,948 infections, 331,285 recovery and 2,933 deaths.
