Just In: Ogun Police Command Nabs 5 Armed Robbers

According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Ogun state police command has reportedlg arrested armed robbery gang members responsible for robbing a Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) at Gudugbe Alagbon area of Wasimi in Ewekoro LGA in Ogun.

The arrest was confirmed by the Ogun state Police Public Relations Officer, Abimbola Oyeyemi, who noted that the suapects were arrested by the police following a distress call made by the Church Shepherd.

OYOGist.com also learned that the robbers allegedly beat up the church members after which they collected their valuables.

The police PPRO also confirmed the swift action taken by men of the police who combed the bush and forest around the area in search of the armed robber who were later apprehended. The items recovered are as follows; one cutlass, two sharp pointed cudgels, including dangerous charms.

The following suspects were reportedly apprehended by the Ogun State Police Command; Abubakar Ibrahim, 38, Sulaiman Yusuf 32, Ismail Yusuf 20, Umar Aliu 26,hgi and Yinusa Musa.
