OYOGist.com has learned that amidst the sanction threat from the Nigerian federal government over the Lekki shooting report, the US based Cable News Network (CNN) has released a second investigative report on the Lekki Toll Gate incident.

According to the CNN second report, the news network stated that the Nigerian Army Commander of the 81 Division, Brig. Gen Ahmed Taiwo admitted that the soldiers sent to the Lekki toll gate used live ammunitions on the peaceful #Endsars protesters.

The Cable News Network reports stated that Brig. Gen Ahmed Taiwo’s recent revelation contradicts the Nigerian Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed’s claim that no live was lost and the Army used blank bullets on the protesters. The CNN report also showed how protesters were running for their dear lives.

It should be noted that several petitions have been written against the Nigerian government over its use of force and violence on its own citizens including the clampdown on various media houses in the country especially (Arise News, Channels TV and AIT) for broadcasting and giving accurate reports on various horrific event in the country.
