According to report reaching oyogist.com, the Nasarawa Police Command has confirmed the abduction of the Nasarawa state Chairman of the All Progressive Congress APC, Mr. Philip Shekwo by unknown gunmen.
The incident was confirmed by the Nasarawa state Police Commissioner, Mr. Bola Longe while addressing the newsmen in Lafia.
According to the police commissioner, the APC Chairman was allegedly kidnapped by unknown gunmen at around 11:00pm at his residence, situated at Bukan-Sidi, Lafia on Saturday.
Mr. Longe also stated that the police tactical team have been deployed around the state in a bid to rescue the kidnapped APC Chieftain. He also assured the people that the police would use all mechanism within it reach to bring the perpetrators to book.
