According to report reaching oyogist.com, FIFA has reportedly placed a life ban on the Haitan football federation President, Yves Jean-Bart over the misuse of power and sexual misconduct.
According to findings, Jean Bart was allegedly found guilty by FIFA of having abused his position and also the sexual harassment of female players which included minors.
While reacting to the allegations, Mr. Jean Bart stated that the decision of FIFA was a travesty of justice and a purely political move. He made it known that the football governing body found no evidence of him committing the said crime which led to his ban.
The football governing body’s ruling was hailed by the global players’ union FIFPro, which labeled the move as a “landmark decision made possible by the extraordinary courage of the survivors, victims and witnesses who came forward”.
