According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the Federal High Court sitting in Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa State has allegedly disqualified the Candidate of the All Progressive Congress (APC) Rt. Hon. Peremobowei Ebebi.

The suit was filed by Comrade Ebide Brown and Comrade Moses Hitler, Chairman and Spokesman APC Grassroot Mobilization Sagbama and Ekeremor, challenging the legitimacy of the APC primary they called “kangaroo”, which judgment was given against Ebebi.

INEC also testified in the court, they were not notified on the APC primary, stating they are not part of their primary when statutory regulation mandated all political parties to officially write to INEC for supervision and documentation.

Hence, the APC Candidate, Rt Hon. Ebebi has been disqualified from the Bayelsa West Senatorial District bye-election.

It should be recalled that, Rt. Hon. Peremabowei Ebebi, was the declared winner during the All Progressives Congress, APC Bayelsa West Senatorial primary election held some fortnight ago, and he has been gearing up to tug-it out with opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP candidate, Hon. Henry Seriake Dickson.
