Manchester City football club had a rather quiet summer transfer window. They Etihad side are keem on wrestling back the Premier League title from Liverpool this season and have brought in Ruben Dias, Nathan Ake and Ferran Torres to further strengthen the squad, oyogist.com reports.

However, despite sign highly-rated winger Ferran Torres from Valencia during the summer transfer window, Pep Guardiola’s side have completed the signing of another winger in Filip Stevanovic.

The 18-year-old Serbia International, who made his debut for Partizan Belgrade two years ago has been linked with a move away from the Serbian club in recent months.

And now, Partizan Belgrade have confirmed that the teenage winger will join Manchester City in January for a fee believed to be in the region of £6million.

Confirming the transfer, a tweet from Partizan Belgrade read: “Partizan is pleased to announce the transfer of Filip Stevanovic to Manchester City in the winter transition period of 2021.

“The transfer of Filip Stevanovic to one of the largest European clubs is a significant confirmation of the good and hard work of all club structures.”

However, it remains to be seen whether the youngster will remain with the Serbian club for the rest of the season or head out on loan elsewhere.

Filip Stevanovic has started the 2020/2021 season on a strong note. He has scored three goals and provided two assists in 15 appearances.
