OYOGist.com has learned that the Governor of Oyo state, Seyi Makinde has appealed to the protesting youths of the state to stop the destruction of lives and properties in the state.
The Governor made this appeal while reacting to various reports of vandalization of some government and private owned infrastructures in the state.
The governor who embarked on a state tour of the protest hotspots in Oyo state stated that his government will continue to safeguard the lives and properties in the state.
The governor warned the protesting youths to refrain from the destruction of the lives and properties in the state under the guise of the ENDSARS protest.
The Governor also assured the release of the innocent protesters in the state, adding that the Oyo state government would attend to all those who have lost their properties in the state.
