The Personal Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on Social Media, Mrs. Lauretta Onochie has again reacted to the call and protest by some Nigerians that the Federal Government should ban the activities of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad SARS in Nigeria due to the recently increased rate of its brutality on innocent citizens, oyogist.com reports.
According to the statement made by the Presidential Aide on her verified Twitter handle, she said that we can’t stop using water because someone drowned.
Mrs. Onochie went further to state that the target should be holding on the Police to punish its erring officers, and that should be the way to reform SARS.
This is won’t be the first time that the President’s Assistant on Social Media is speaking against the call by some angry Nigerians that the Nigerian Police should ban all the activities of SARS. Mrs. Onochie had previously blamed internet fraudsters for championing the call to ban SARS.
