Buhari made this known in his virtual message at the last campaign rally of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) on Wednesday in Akure.
The president, who comprehended the governorship candidate of the party for accepting the outcome of its primaries and agreed to work for the party, said their patriotic and selfless behavior would encourage as an enduring reference point in party politics.
President Buhari said: “I have no uncertainty that our aspirant is a satisfactory brand for the APC to market. I am extremely pleased by his actual approach to governance. Buhari, who also applauded the APC family for their “uncommon show of brotherliness and togetherness”, said the communal intention of party leaders to implant democracy accordingly was considered as the main element to the electoral procedure.
“It is my wish that the electorate will obey laid-down rules and regulations in accord with the constitutions guiding the electoral system.”
“I wish you all a profitable and peaceable election. Vote right, vote wisely, vote for continuity and improvement, vote growth,” President Buhari said.
