OYOGist.com has learned that the incumbent governor of Ondo state Governor Rotimi Akeredolu who also doubled as the governorship candidate of All Progressive Congress, APC has commended the deputy governor of Edo state Philip Shuibu of Peoples Democratic Party for his unalloyed support and loyalty to his boss, governor Obaseki even in this most trying time.
The governor, who was responding to a question posed to him on channel’s television this morning on what transpired between him and his deputy. He said that ambition if not well managed can lead one astray as in the case of some deputies. When a deputy who is always very close to the governor begins to desire to be like his boss will one day loose focus and start a fight with his boss.
According to him this was why his deputy lost focus and start to aspire to replace him as a governor. However, he said he has nothing against his deputy having ambition. That he can go ahead and seek for the actualization of his ambition.
He then extended his commendation to the deputy governor of Edo state for still maintaining the cordial relationship which exist between him and his boss in this trying times of the governor. He equally commended the Vice President, prof Yemi Osibanjo for remaining loyal to his boss President Muhammad Buhari.
