Nigeria mourns once again as Justice Jude Okeke who is one of the judges in the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory dies in Abuja on Tuesday. According to reports, Justice Okeke died at the age of 64 at the National Hospital in Abuja, on Tuesday, oyogist.com reports.
According to report, one of the court officials who pleaded for anonymity confirmed that the late judge complained of chest pain some days ago after which his condition began deteriorating.
Dr Tayo Haastrup, who is the spokesperson of National Hospital, confirmed that the Justice Jude Okeke died on Tuesday but didn’t confirm the nature of his illness as at the time of this report.
Justice Okeke is a native of Idemili North Local Government Area of Onitsha, Anambra State and occupied the ninth position in the hierarchy of the FCT High Court judges until his death.
