Following the announcement of the exit of Shoprite from the Nigerian market, an internal memo has revealed that Retail Supermarkets Nigeria Limited, the owners of the Shoprite brand in Nigeria are looking for Nigerian investors.
OYOGist.com gathered this through a tweet shared by Tolu Ogunlesi, a journalist and media aid to President Buhari.
It was revealed that the company has now identified some Nigerian investors that would help make the shopping retail giant “a truly Nigerian business run and owned by Nigerians for the Nigerian market.”
