Bishop David Oyedepo, the presiding bishop and founder of the Living Faith Church worldwide also known as winners chapel international with headquarters at Cannaan land, Ota Nigeria, who spoke this Sunday at the first service which held at Faith Tabernacle this Sunday, August 2nd, has revealed that two hundred and forty (240) churches were currently being planted simultaneously across 17 states in Nigeria.
The Presiding Bishop who spoke on the need for Christians to be led by God in everything they did, stated the reason why the church was on an expansion mission everywhere.
He said this was because they (The church) was on a divine mandate from God to deliver Ten thousand (10,000) Churches for the year 2020. In his own words, he said “expansion here and there, his leadings never lack proofs. He launched us into the year with a 10,000 Church planting project, even today, 240 Churches are being planted across 17 states of the nation”.
The Bishop also went ahead to unveil the prophetic theme for the month of August which read “I am a child of Destiny”, and stated that every child of God had a glorious destiny. He also prayed that the needs of every congregant and new convert be met by God.
