The Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodimma has described Prince Dr Henry Uzor Okafor as the best Managing Director of ISOPADEC. This statement was made during a courtesy call by the leadership of Imo Hope Restoration Movement to the governor to demonstrate their unanimous resolve to join hands with the governor towards the development of the state, oyogist.com reports.
This resolution which was contained in an address as presented by the Chief Convener of the Movement, Dr Prince Henry Okafor was to leave no stone unturned in galvanizing great support for the government towards achieving the 3R (Reconstruction, Rehabilitation and Recovery) mission of the administration.
He went further to thank the governor on his gallant cum giant strides within the few months in office while advocating that the abandoned Imo State Maritime University be converted to a Maritime Engineering campus of Federal University of Technology Owerri.
This will go a long way to produce graduates in that discipline that will fill up the local content quota. The governor in his response thanked The Chief Convener for his thoughtfulness in joining hands timely to change the face of Imo.
He also pledged a listening ear and an open door to all that may wish to tow the same path in extending a hand of solidarity as led by the young prince of the hydrocarbon.
The Deputy Governor who represented the governor in that meeting was accompanied by the Chief of staff, Hon Nnamdi Anyaehie, the Attorney General of the state, Barr COC Akaolisa, the state party chairman, Chief Marcon Nlemigbo, the commissioner for Agriculture, Hon. Lambert Orisakwe, Chief of Protocol to the Gov, Sir Bright Nwelue, DCoS Admin, Hon. Sydney Agbor amongst others.
