Philippe Coutinho has been shown interest by several Premier League clubs, of which Arsenal has been reported to be strongly linked with the 28 years old, as they viewed him as a way to bolster their attack ahead of the next campaign.

The North London club have been reported not to be able to afford the signature of the Brazilian, as Barcelona now values him in the region of £60m and his weekly wages of £250,000 a-week will also be a problem for the Gunners, who are currently battling the financial impact of coronavirus pandemics.

However, Barcelona are ready to offload him as a way to get fund to finance a move for their Inter Milan transfer target Lautaro Martinez.
