According to report reaching OYOGist.com, the attention of the Deputy Governor of Ondo State, His Excellency Agboola Ajayi, has been drawn to the news circulating in social media about the attempt to bribe the state panel of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) delegates. This accusation comes from some PDP candidates for governorship. It is not only ludicrous and baseless, but it is an effort to intimidate the leaders of the Communal Party.

Let public Hon Agboola Alfred Ajayi and his campaign The leaders of the Organization have never been to the Heritage Hotel to bribe the Committee as claimed. The Deputy Governor has become the nightmare of his political rivals within the PDP and their supporters at the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the state due to his political capital and the popularity.

For the sake of transparency and misguided members of the public who may be hoodwinked in this famous fallacy, the Deputy Governor has never visited the Congress place. Not even though all the candidates were invited to vote on 9 July,2020. We therefore encourage the general public and dedicated leaders of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to ignore in its entirety the emergency steps that have been placed in place.

It is highly humiliating and shameful that some PDP gubernatorial candidates might fall so low to tell lies that the Deputy Governor and his campaign team were in the hotel at night to bribe members of the committee.

Let the general public know that the Deputy Governor, the Director General of his pre-election campaign, Dr. Kola Ademujimi and other members of the Campaign Team have been part of the campaign.

Hon Agboola Ajayi has repeatedly said that he is not desperate for a PDP seat, but that he would make himself available to party members among the multitude of qualified candidates of the party seeking a party ticket for the October 10, 2020 governorship election.

The Deputy Governor and leaders of the Pre-Election Campaign Committee are not dissuaded by this baseless and evil lie that has been told about him.
