More than 600 shops belonging to Nigerian merchants in Ghana have been re-opened to commence business by the government of Ghana. This was announced by Dr. Ken Ukaoha, the NANTS President.

Akasha revealed this when on a solidarity visit to Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

This occurs after the closed down of foreign stores announced to be disobeying a Ghanaian constitution excluding non-nationals from having domestic retail shops, back in late 2019.

He announced that the visit was to applaud the Chairman of NiDCOM for her relentless actions in settling the closedown of shops owned by Nigerians in Ghana for more than 6 months.
