OYOGist.com has learned that Agboola Ajayi, the deputy governor of Governor Akeredolu has reacted to the corona-virus status of the governor, Rotimi Akeredolu who tested positive for the virus recently.
Ajayi, on his twitter page on Tuesday, June 30, expressed sympathy and compassion over the news about Gov Akeredolu’s health. The deputy governor said that he’s relieved due to the fact Akeredolu is stable and asymptomatic even while in self isolation.
He wrote: “I receive the news that the Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN tests positive for the Corona-virus with great empathy and compassion. “He is relieved by the disclosure of Mr Governor that he’s asymptomatic and feeling good in the self isolation.”
It would be recalled that Akeredolu had announced that he has tested positive for the corona-virus infection. Akeredolu made the disclosure on Tuesday, June 30, via a video shared on his official and verified Twitter account. Gov Akeredolu said as at the time of receiving his test result, he was asymptomatic and had since gone into self-isolation.
