A former middle-school teacher in Florida, Leslie Bushart, 49, has been apprehended after allegedly performing sexual acts on a 15-yr old boy, OYOGist.com reports.
The incident reportedly happened at a graduation party for the victim’s older sister in June 6.
According to police reports, Bushart said she took the boy away from the crowd.
Report continues “She attempted to smoke marijuana, but was so drunk that she couldn’t get it lit. At that point she began performing oral sex on the victim.”
Bushart and the teenage boy then rejoined the party, which is when the teacher started to talk about what had she had done to the boy.
“Bushart told another person at that party that she had just performed oral sex on the teenage victim.”
“That person then informed the mother of the victim. The mother confronted Bushart, who then quickly left the party.”
The teacher then messaged the victim’s mum on Facebook Messenger after the party blaming the incident on her being drunk at the party.
The victim’s parents informed the police, and an investigation was opened on June 16.
Bushart is now being held at Polk County Jail and has been charged with one count of felony lewd battery.
She has since been placed on administrative leave and the school district has started a process to end her employment after teaching in the school for 29years.
