A Prophet identified as Nnamso Jacob of the Living Power of Zion Church has been arrested by the Akwa-Ibom Police Command, for sexually violating a 16-year-old girl who went to him for deliverance.
According to a statement by the Public Relations Officer of the Command, Nnudam Fredrick, on Thursday, Jacob, who is the General Overseer of the said church was arrested for by the Command for allegedly raping a 16-year-old girl.
It was said that the victim visited the prophet in his church located at Nduese Eduo, Okon Eket, in the Eket Local Government Area for deliverance and counseling.
It was also reported that she was given an appointment by the Prophet to come for spiritual adoption on Tuesday 23rd June, 2020.
On the said day, the victim visited the Prophet, and while in his counselling room, she was allegedly administered an intoxicating substance by the 35-year-old Prophet who afterwards took advantage of her.
