Seyi Makinde condoles with Ajimobi’s family, orders Oyo flag to fly at half-mast

Governor Seyi Makinde has expressed his sadness over the unfortunate passing of the former Governor of Oyo State, Abiola Ajimobi, OYOGist.com reports.

Abiola Ajimobi died in First Cardiology Consultancy Hospital on Thursday, 25th of June, 2020 in Lagos State after contracting the deadly COVID-19 disease.

The Governor said Ajimobi laid the blueprint for some of the activities his administration is carrying out today.

Seyi Makinde further ordered that the Oyo State flags be lowered to half-mast tomorrow, Friday, in honor of the memory of the late ex-Governor.

“I was sorry to hear the news passing away of the immediate past Governor of Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi, which sad event took place earlier today,” Governor Seyi Makinde said.
