Governor Seyi Makinde has on Monday, the 15th of June, 2020 announced new time for the enforcement of the dusk to dawn curfew in Oyo State, OYOGist.com is aware.
The new COVID-19-imposed dusk to dawn time the Governor has approved is now 10PM to 4AM, from the erstwhile stated 8PM to 5AM.
“The dusk to dawn curfew in Oyo State has been relaxed and will now be in force from 10PM – 4AM daily,” the Governor tweeted.

This announcement was made during the Governor’s daily COVID-19 Task Force updates shared online.
While Governor Seyi Makinde has embarked on a gradual rollback of the lockdown measures put in place to curb the spread of the deadly virus in Oyo State, cases are on a rise in the state.
On Monday, the 15th of June, the Governor revealed that there were 68 new confirmed positive COVID-19 cases in Oyo State. This sharp increase is higher than was previously recorded in the state.
