Singer Naira Marley has reacted to the accusation by the private jet company, ExecuJet that he impersonated the former Governor of Lagos State and the current Minister of Works and Housing, Babatunde Fashola in order to fly to Abuja on their private jet.
OYOGist.com recalls that the artist held a show in a fully-packed auditorium in Abuja during the COVID-19 pandemic at Jabi Lake Mall, which resulted in the government sealing the mall and penalizing the private jet company that flew Naira Marly from Lagos to Abuja.
The result has been several back and forth between the private jet company and the singer, culmunating in the private jet company accusing the singer of impersonating the Minister to get them to fly him and his crew to Abuja while the inter-state travel ban remained in effect.
On Tuesday, the 16th of June, 2020, Naira Marley, in reacting to the accusation, said when they asked for “our names on the jet though and looooool ur pilot is a Marlian and everybody there is a Marlian too.. my name is Azeez Adeshina Fashola and my lil brothers name is moshood babatunde fashola…”
This might explain why the operators of Execujet were confused and thought they were flying the former No. 1 citizen of Lagos state to Abuja.

It’s too bad that things got out of hand. But this is Nigeria, someone has to take the blame for it.
