OYOGist.com has learned that the Federal Government through it’s National Coordinator of PTF on Covid-19, Dr. Sani Aliyu while speaking at the daily briefing by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19, has hinted that the FG may review the interstate travel ban any time soon.
The National Coordinator said the FG has given the domestic flight operators till 21st of June, to put things in order in preparation to resume for normal operations, but said it will be counterproductive to resume domestic flights without lifting ban on interstate travel, because both works hand-in-hand.

Dr Sani Aliyu added and said that “The 21st of June, is just a timeline for the flight operators to prepare, but if they come to the us (PTF) and say that they’re through with their preparations within a week, we may give them go-ahead and that will mean reviewing interstate travel ban as well”.
It will be recalled that on Monday, President Buhari through it’s SGF, Boss Mustapha had said that the interstate travel ban which was declared weeks ago is still in place.
