US President Trump and the White House have revealed that the President would be signing an executive order on social media, after issuing a threat to shut down the social media giant for putting a fact check on his tweet, OYOGist.com has gathered.

According to Reuters, the President’s decision to sign an executive order on social media companies is the biggest move to regulate the industry after threatening to do same in 2018.

The President’s decision to sign an executive order on social media was announced by the White House on Wednesday, and the said order would be signed on Thursday.

Twitter was bold in adding a fact check to Trump’s tweet on Mail-in ballot on Wednesday, and was the first social media site to add a fact check to the President’s posts. Twitter is still the President’s favorite means of passing his messages across, sending 100s of tweets out daily to his over 80M followers.
