US President Trump and the White House have revealed that the President would be signing an executive order on social media, after issuing a threat to shut down the social media giant for putting a fact check on his tweet, OYOGist.com has gathered.

According to Reuters, the President’s decision to sign an executive order on social media companies is the biggest move to regulate the industry after threatening to do same in 2018.

The President’s decision to sign an executive order on social media was announced by the White House on Wednesday, and the said order would be signed on Thursday.

It is not certain what the executive order contains and how it is going to affect Twitter and other social networks. Twitter has also not dropped any comment on the announcement.
