Senate President Ahmed Lawan Pays Tribute To Late Adamawa Senator

OYOGist.com has learned that the Nigerian Senate President Ahmed Lawan has paid tribute to the late lawmaker Senator Paul Wampana who represented the Adamawa north senatorial district. The late senator was confirmed dead in his apartment earlier today May 11th 2020 in Abuja.

The late senator once served as the speaker of the defunct Gongola House of Assembly as well as representing the Adamawa north senatorial district in the Nigerian Senate before becoming a minister of state for public health during the second republic.

The Senate President through his spokesman Ola Awoniyi expressed his condolences to the family of the deceased as well as the friends and political associates and to the entire Adamawa state over the loss of their son.

The Senate President described the late lawmaker as a patriot who contributed immensely to the growth of the nation as well as the Adamawa state and will be greatly missed.
