OYOGist.com has learned that a current African Cup Of Nation Champion (Algeria), Farid El Melali Who plays for a League 1 football club in France (Angers), has been arrested for public masturation as he peers into female neighbor’s residence.
The 22-year-old forward had scored a total of five in 11 appearances for the French club last season just signed his contract extension which expires 2023, with his club earlier the day he was arrested.
The player, El Meli was reported to have been pleasuring himself while the police was contacted for his arrest. However, football lawyer, Sandra Chirac-kollarik disclosed that “He wasn’t targeting anyone, and wasn’t aggressive towards anyone.”

Furthermore, he has been charged with indecent exposure. Although the player had been released but would soon face trial in the “context of a pre-conviction appearance, the equivalence of a guilty plea,” Le Parisien reported.
He is currently facing a maximum of 12 months behind bars and £13,000 fine. However, the prosecutor noted that El Melali had been accused of the similar offence in April, but the witness was unable to identify him.
