Super Eagles wing-back, Ola Aina has revealed how current Juventus manager Maurizio Sarri brutally forced him out of boyhood club Chelsea.
The 23-year-old had high hopes of playing in the premier league after breaking into the Blues first team but the arrival of the Italian changed all that as he asked the Nigerian to find another club and that left him devastated.
Aina moved to Torino on an initial loan before completing a €10m permanent move in the summer of 2019 and has been one of the most important players for the Turin based side.

“Sarri told me I would have to go on loan, I would not have played,” said Aina of their 2018 conversation. “During the market, I received offers from Championship clubs, but I wanted to play in the Premier League.
“When Torino came for me, I accepted immediately because I would have had the opportunity to play in Serie A, in important stadiums and against top-level teams and players and above all in a team that wanted to go to the Europa League.”
Before the forced break of football due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Aina had two assists in 25 competitive appearances for the Granata.
