COVID-19: FG apologizes to Nigerians over Abba Kyari’s crowded burial

The Federal Government of Nigeria, represented by the Head of the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 has on Monday, 20th of April, apologized to Nigerians for the gathering that held at the burial of Abba Kyari, OYOGist.com has gathered.

OYOGist.com recalls that Nigerians were outraged when videos emerged showing people numbering more than the recommended twenty (or ten) gathered together to participate in the burial of the late Chief of Staff to Buhari on Saturday.

“The PTF recognizes, with great tragedy, the unintended violation of the principles and protocols that form the core of our messaging to Nigerians at the funeral of the late Chief of Staff,” Boss Mustapha said during an address on Monday, 29th of April, 2020.
