The Kano State Government has confirmed the first case of Coronavirus in the state through Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa.
Dr. Tsanyawa did not give further details on the infected person but he informed the press that the state government would soon give an update on the cases as soon as the governor was done meeting with health experts on how to curb the COVID-19 infection in the state.
Sources have said the infected person is a returning traveler from Lagos State.
