The government has become aware of the impact of the Coronavirus on the lives and livelihood of Nigerians. Oyogist has learnt.
The Minister of Finance, Zainab Shamsuna Ahmed, Minister of State for Petroleum, Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu, CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele and GMD, NNPC has briefed the president Muhammadu Buhari about the state of the economy.
President Muhammadu Buhari tweeted;
“As a government we are very mindful of the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak, on the lives and livelihoods of Nigerians, and on the national economy. In that regard, I just received a briefing from the Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Petroleum, CBN Governor and GMD, NNPC”
